5086 H111 Round Bar

5086-H111 round bar is a cylindrical metal bar made from 5086 aluminum alloy as the base material, which is treated in the H111 temper state. 5086 aluminum alloy is primarily alloyed with magnesium, offering medium strength, excellent corrosion resistance, and weldability, making it ideal for welded structural components. The H111 temper indicates that the material has been partially annealed after being strain-hardened, placing it in a semi-hardened state.

The 5086 H111 round bar is a marine-grade alloy known for its excellent corrosion resistance (especially in saltwater environments) and suitability for welding and forming. This makes it the material of choice for the shipbuilding industry, including for hulls, ladders, and pressure vessels.
